Most of the soft Qigong available was created by the internal martial art styles. The main purpose of creation was to increase the storage of the Qi level and to increase the Qi circulation for martial arts purpose. However, because these two goals were also the main factors of strengthening the physical body and mind, they have been popularly practiced for health and healing purposes as well.In this seminar, Dr. Yang will introduce the Taiji Qigong set and the Soft Crane Qigong set. The Taiji Qigong set has been conceived mainly to promote relxation, Qi circulation, and coordenation of movement with breathing. The Soft Crane Qigong emphasizes chest and spine movements.
